Foot Pain (3)

Last night on a relatively easy run I experienced some sharp pain on the posterier side of my right foot, just in front of my arch.

It was very acute and was cause to make me stop and walk for a bit. Walking did not hurt, and after a few moments I could trot without pain, but the pain came back as I picked up the pace.

Any insight as to what this could be?

Thanks,

Rocketboy

Not a real expert, but to me it sounds like
A. You may have ripped something in your foot,
B. You arch is trying to collapse.

As a few stalkerish types may remember I had similar foot problems plague me last year. I’d say take so time off and get a new pair of shoes. I’d also wait for a second opinion, though.
