Anyone done this one? Thoughts? Opinions? Course looks pretty tame to me.

I did it two years ago. I think they moved the transition area last year to a better location. The bike course is mostly flat with rollers- pretty tame. The run course was on a lakeside trail that is tougher than it appears. Not a really tough run course, but a lot of little hills. All in all a great race. J&A always has great food and entertainment after the race, too. I’ll be there this year.
I did this one last year and they completely changed the course from two years ago. The bike course has some small rollers but otherwise it is pretty flat. The road conditions could be better and last year there was a decent headwind on the way out. The run has one substantial hill (overpass) that you have to climb going each way but other than that it is very flat.
It was a well run race.

Nice course.
I had a problem with the sun in the morning for the swim, like I could see the bouys on the 1/3 of a course into the sun. Bike is relatively flat, with rollers. Run has one ugly part, climbing back up to the over pass on the way back in, it hurt, its around mile 5. Most of the bike course is closed, roads where that bad. Fast course, well run by JA.
