If you are lucky with AC they may just charge you the $50 for the “Checked Luggage”. They have some extra fee for a “bike” that in my past experience has been variable - sometimes they hit you up and sometimes they don’t! For the last number of years I have been either 35K or 50K with Aeroplan and I get Free Checked Sports Equipment if I want.
I think it depends on the pricing tier that you get with your ticket
