Floyd's Book - Anybody buy it

Just curious to see if anybody bought his book today. I am still up in the air on buying it or not

I just finished reading it. Couldn’t put it down. Get it.
p.s. I think he’ll be on the lettermen show tonight. as in in a few minutes.

I plan to.

I’m headed to France in two weeks and will be taking it with me for the flights…Should be a good read.

Bob

I’ve had it ordered at amazon for a few weeks and they keep pushing back the delivery date. I just say the book at borders so I might cancel and walk over today. I’m looking forward to the reading the book.

I just finished reading the book. Before I read it, I didn’t think he was guilty. Afterwards, I am not so certain now. Am I the only one with that reaction?

Hmm, that can’t be good. His book made you think he was guilty?

Bob

What an upside down world, I don’t know if he is guilty or not, but if he is buying his book will be a reward for his cheating! I will only buy his book if I become certain of his innocence. He wants to change people’s mind, he should have distributed his book for free on the internet not trying to make money out of it.

I bought the book last week and finished it in a couple days, which proves that his ghost writer can really write. Maybe it was because I kept informed about his legal proceedings, but I didn’t find that part of the book all that compelling. Rather, the book was at its best when it dealt with his career up to and including the 2006 Tour. There’s come good insight into his feud with Lance.

I didn’t know he had a book out. Is it good? Is it just about his race last year or more about his whole career? It is first person type stuff like the Lance Armstrong books or more of an outsider observing him type of thing?

I almost bought two nights ago at Barnes & Noble but bought Marcus Luttrell’s Lone Survivor, a story about a Navy SEAL recon operation gone bad in Afghanistan. I read that book in two nights and haven’t slept well since…

There was a lot of controversy about that book (the one you read). I can’t remember what it was, I think the author or some of the SEALs who were lost were from Long Island (where I grew up). I saw something about it in my local paper online but never got around to reading the article.

Edit: here’s the link to the story http://www.newsday.com/search/ny-liseal0613,0,354878.story

how big is Landis’s book? It sounds like a short story as fast as people are reading it
