Does anyone have any good, and cheaper, alternatives to the lodging suggested on the Florida Half website? They suggest the Wilderness Lodge or the Wilderness Resort. The camping could be an option but, lets face it, a room is easier. I don’t mind driving a short while (30 min max) the day of the race unless parking is going to be a problem if you aren’t staying there…

The All-Star resorts are cheapest - about 70 to 100 per night. W/ a AAA membership you can get a room at the Wilderness lodge for about 200.
I’m staying at the lodge - whole family in a jr suite. Perfect trip - the kiddos get disnet and I get to do the race.
