Floor pumps for little women

I never realized that it’s difficult for dainty women to pump up their tires to > 100 psi using floor pumps. I went to the LBS to help my friend (a petite 5’ 2" woman) buy a floor pump and she could not get most of the pumps past 75 psi or so. Of course, the only one she could get to work was the Park Pro pump that cost $65.

So ladies, let me know which floor pumps work for you.

Thanks

my girlfriend (5’ 2" and light) likes the Joe Blow, but I think my blackburn pro is easier than her pump. she goes to 115 psi

Thanks. Which joe blow?? They didn’t have any in the store, but I can seek them out.

We tried the blackburn TP-1 or TPS-2, Innovations Top Dog, Park Pro, and Performance Pumps. The Park was the only one she could get to work, but she doesn’t want to pay $65.

Joe Blow is the mac daddy. Everyone borrows mine. (I am a little woman go to 120 psi). Topeak makes it (I like most of their pumps, I have a frame pump of theirs that I can get to 100 psi with).

Wow, a thread with “women”, “pump” and “blow” and still not digressing into the gutter…yet.

Thanks. Do you know which model you have? Pro, turbo, sprint, sport?

i’m going to go buy my wife an air compressor. put it on turn it on and it pumps. also great for getting tufo’s up to 195psi.
i borrowed one a a TT and the little thing rocked

Cool. But I’m guessing it’s too pricey. She doesn’t want to spend the $65 for the park pump.

it’s much less expensive than a pump. I think at kmart the compressor was about $16 for a little one about the size of a hardcover book. weighed about 6 pounds tops.

cool. thanks.
