Ok, so I’m trying to create a Flash site for the workplace who is running Windows 2000 on the computers. I downloaded the trial version but without vista or xp, I cannot install it. Anyone know of a site I can download Flash trial for Windows 2000? Thanks.
what version of IE are you using? You might want to go to the microsoft.com download center to see if they have an option.
Windows 98/ME/2000/XP/Vista

Are you looking for the flash player? Or Macromedia Flash 5?
Macromedia Flash 5.0 or any version that works with Windows 2000. It’s not the applet to run Flash on IE. I’m looking to the trial version so my workplace can check it out before purchasing it for our website designing needs.
I don’t understand why they have not upgraded. Microsoft has stopped supporting Windows 2000 except for security updates. Most software makers have also stopped supporting it. Why not upgrade?
Owners are waiting for a worthy voice recognition system to be integrated with Cornerstone before a total overhaul is done. Either way, that leaves me no space to create Flash sites for them.
You might post around on a couple of flash dev forums… or maybe email Adobe. They might give you the download directly.
