It looks like terrible flooding in the Philippines. I am assuming you are still there which is why I was asking.

I spoke to him on facebook and he said that the flooding was well south of him.

Thanks for the concern but as noted, the flooding is in Mindanao and I am in Leyte province, a little north of the damage. The problems there as in most places in the PI is that a large part of the population live in what we would consider shacks with tin roofs and they are no match for the wind/rain of typhoons. It is a tragedy what is happening and the death toll is climbing. It is a tragedy that once again hurts the poorest of the poor.
