I was not trying to influence or dis you, but I am a sort of a purist in using a bike for what it was designed to do. Kind of like hauling cowshit in a Porsche instead of a pickup, ya you can but why would you want to? I can do an Ironman on a beach cruiser, but some things just ain’t right.I think you are wrong in thinking all fixies look alike or are designed for the same function. You have at least 12 bits that are designed to do something for that bike hanging in the wind without assignment. That sends me a message that this bike is not designed for its present usage. You took a world class cross frame and made it into a hoopty fixie. Whatevers, not my bike. You posted it and we commented what we thought.
