May was ordinary as far as training goals.
June has seen an uptick in bike and SUP mileage.
I am a lurker on Peter Attia’s Podcasts, and yesterday, j4shtsgigglz decided to attempt a pair of his longevity metrics.
- A 2min. Dead hang, and 2. Body weight carry for a minute.
For the dead hang I was at 2:15, when my wife opened the garage door and saw me hanging there. Looking at her appalled expression through the windshield made me laugh too hard, and I dropped like a stone.
Later at the gym, I mapped out a 60s loop of the facility and grabbed a pair of 90s. I made it all the way, but they were slipping for the last 10s or so.
Attia says the tests should be done at 50yo., and I’m 64 next month, so there is that.
