Fit Question - Cervelo P5 Bars/Seat/Helmet/Sizing

Uploaded 5 sequenced photos from a race this Sunday. After clicking through them, I had the reaction that my seat looked too high in pic 4 (knee almost locked), I’ve got a fairly square frontal area with the straight bend bars, and the helmet pokes up a bit like a sail.

Key Questions:
General: what do you think/what would you change? Does the bike look too large? It’s a 56 P5 & I’m 5’11"/32" inseam.
Would upright ski bend style bars alleviate some of this or should I be on a 54? (my elbows seem to be too far back off the pads)
Also open to fitter suggestions in the Colorado area, it has been ~5yrs since I did a Tri fit.

Also for context, I’ve been using bestbikesplit to estimate CDA. Did a 50mi course at 25.5mph on 265W NP at 170lbs, projecting around .267cda which seems like there is quite a bit of room for improvement…

looks to my untrained eye that you could come forward and down (might need a bar swap or at least different risers) Not sure you need a smaller frame though.

I think the best thing you could do for your bike fit is to get a helmet that matches your bike (and shoes too it looks like), I think that should add ~10W to your FTP
.

Lol, this is what I was here for. The helmet matched my old bike & kit, but I heard Red was 10w faster, so I changed everything else. Adding a new helmet to my Amazon list now haha

What if you just rode with your elbows on the pads and your hands on the end of your extensions? Stretching out I think would help lower your chest a bit and get your head/helmet down. Might also concentrate some on pressing your chest lower which would help as well. As I learned on my own fit critique thread, bike fit is as much about your posture as it is the touch points on the bike.

Going to try this this weekend. I’ve always ridden with more of my forearms on the pads, but after following some other fit threads here I noticed all the advice on getting your elbows over the actual pads. Will try that and report back. Thanks!
