I’m looking at two bikes and trying to determine if either of them work for me and if so, which may be a better choice? I can’t test ride them because both have integrated seat posts. If anyone has an informed opinion, I’d love to hear it.
I currently ride a 50cm Felt B12 Tri bike - classified a “long and low” bike, similar to Cervelo.
I’m 5’3" with long legs and also long arms – a 30" inseam. I have an “outlier” geometry on the “narrow and tall” scale. I’m “narrow and tall” (all things relative) on a “long and low” bike. Not sure if this correlates, but my bike rides super twitchy!!
Here are two bikes I’m looking at with links to geometry. These are both “narrow and tall” bikes. Below that is also a link to my current bike and some of the data points of my current fit.
Sorry for the flood of information below!! I know in some form or fashion, all of this is relevant but since I don’t know exactly how, I’m erring on the side of any & all relevant info so any of you out there who know their stuff will have the data.
Also, I do intown riding and hilly rides on my road bike. I won’t be doing much “technical” riding on my tri bike - as in sharp turns, relative to toe overlap considerations. Just FYI.
THANKS!!!
