Not many details but it must be something big.
My buddy met her last year and really liked her but that means nothing other than she was friendly. I am down to sex or money.
FORT JACKSON, SC (WIS) - The first female commandant of the United States Army’s Drill Sergeant School at Fort Jackson is no longer in charge of the institution, according to Army officials.
Sergeant Major Teresa L. King has been suspended from her position pending further review and investigation, according to a spokesperson for the Deputy Commanding General of Initial Military Training (DCGIMT).
“It’s an ongoing investigation and the reason for her suspension is being reviewed,” said Stephanie Slater, DCGIMT spokesperson. Slater would not elaborate on the circumstances behind King’s suspension.
What some people, myself included find disturbing about her aside from all of this is how she got into such an important position after 29 years and has no combat patch.
“I did wonder how someone in the Army could manage not to get deployed to a combat zone with over 29 years of service, especially in the last ten years. Most units have been deployed multiple times. Then I saw that CSM King’s was branched AG, or Adjutant General Corps. One of her previous jobs was as an Admin Assistant, which makes me think her MOS is 42A (Human Resources). This is perfectly respectable and she deserves much credit for doing so well in her MOS. It does seem that things have changed because the Army used to make an effort to ensure the top slots in the DSS were filled by combat veterans, of which there is no shortage today.”

“In the last 30 years, the Army has been deployed to Grenada, Panama, Somalia, Op Desert Storm, Op Enduring Freedom & Op Iraqi Freedom. These qualified for combat deployments. You also had Haiti, Op Joint Endeavor, the Op in Kosovo, and the Multi National Observers in the Sinai Desert. There have been numerous times that CSM King could had deployed to an operation.”
