First ever ride with race wheels

So my dad bought a set of Zipp 404 for racing (I’ll get to use them when he isn’t racing, which will be around 2-3 times this year) =D

We rode 64k yesterday, and damn it’s really great to ride them a set of deep dish wheels. I was always skeptic about the advantages since I didn’t notice any big difference riding with a set of Spinergy Tilium, but the Zipp… omg it felt so good. I’m not sure if they accelerate better, but it’s much easier to keep at a higher speed than without them. I also like the sound they make =)

Btw they are clincher. whoever has a problem with them can donate money to get me/us a new set of zipp 808 tubs.

If you get a set 808’s, before I can even find a used front tubie wheel I am going to fly over to where ever it is you live and chase you around with a fire hose and lacrosse stick.

instead of buying plane tickets, you can send the money to me and i’ll use it to buy a set of 808’s
