with only 6 weeks to my first A race (IMNZ). Did my LSd today and followed Friel/Gordo suggestion of staying at about 70-80% of CP30. This lowered my avg speed to about 2mph slower. Question is how I should use the PT with only 6 weeks left. I plan to taper about 3 weeks out. I guess I need reassurance that slowing down will benefit the long run.
