Sorry, I lost the thread a few weeks ago on this discussion. I know what the rules are now about age group points and where athletes start in a wave format. But, what was the final word? It makes no sense whatsoever to have the winner come from a later wave. Not much of a ‘race’ when the leaders have no idea what going on behind them.
Also, we have done our first time trial swim start last year and really like the formats safety. We actually had a water save by the swim safety director 25-yards from the start! How does this format read in the age group points rule?
