I couldn’t be more underwhelmed. I like Felt and all but noting to get excited about that’s for sure.
i’ll leave out the epletives, but one pic? come on!
PICS is plural, So where are the other pictures?
Ok, sorry it took so long for the rest of the pics. I cleaned up the frame a little bit. Some background on this bike, it is a size 56cm frame and it was raced by Will Frischkorn in last year’s Tour de France where he took 2nd place in Stage 3. It is 1 of 8 prototypes made for the Slipstream Garmin Chipotle Team in 2008, also made with a little extra material for some added stiffness (similar to the F1 Sprint) compared to the production version AR’s this year. I don’t have the exact weight yet, but it still feels super light using Felt’s new UHC Nano Modular Carbon Fiber. I can’t wait to build it up this weekend and will have more pics once the build is finished. Hopefully the rain will stop so I can take some pics outside in the natural light and take it for a spin as well.

mmm… that thing is beautiful!
The seat’s too high…
Somebody had to say it.
That is really nice. Seeing more and more “aero” road bikes now - have no idea what took so long to copy the success of the Soloist …
no nokon cables, “integrated” headset, shimano logo … no thanks. did you add that logo yourself?
Nice bike, thanks for posting the pics!!!
Not nearly as long as it took Cervelo to copy the original Kestrel roadbike. ![]()
Styrrell
hawwttttttttttttttt. love the colors and the frame thanks for sharing
i jizzed in my pants.
No unfortunately I didn’t add that Shimano logo, and it did indeed come with the Dura Ace 7800 group, but I took it all off to clean the frame and I am thinking of putting my Campy Record group on there. I might have to tape over the Shimano logo ![]()
Now I just need to save up for some Zipp’s!
Some more pics from outside in the natural light…

Dead sexy!!!
I rode with a guy on a prototype model this morning. The frame looks really cool… I did a double-take, I thought it was the t/t bike with road bars at first.
Was it a prototype with this color scheme or a prototype production model?
I am having a hard time deciding what I want to build it up with. Don’t want it to look weird with the Shimano logo on there, so not sure if I should get a new 7800 set, a new 7900 set, or just use my current record set
Personally, anybody who thinks a Shimano sticker on a bike equipped with Campy parts looks strange has an opinion I don’t care about.
If the Shimano decal bugs, score some black mylar decal film at a hobby shop, cut it to fit over the sticker and slap it on. It’s super thin, so the edges would be nearly impossible to see. Then slap a campy decal over and viola…
which would you choose…
