Yep everything is the new design now
.
Sorry the old ones didnât work for you - we have had people use them before. Thanks for the feedback on the site as well, I can see how that might be confusing so we should update things to make it a bit clearer!
Can you send a picture on how youâve installed the block? It is not clear to me from the shapeways website if the inclined raiser has a threads or not. Thanks in advance
Nope⌠No thread
You wind up using longer bolts then speced in the instructions and screwing straight through the base bar, to the threaded nut under the base bar
Attached, is what the stack of pieces looks like(for a low stack)
Bolt
Top retaining piece
Extension clamps
Angled piece
Base bar
Threaded nut
Really nice pieces.
I just bought a set. Sadly the stack height is way too high for my application. Said 20mm but with the adaptor pieces itââŹâ˘s around 31.
Still looking for a high quality solution that is 20mm tops.
gotcha! Thanks for your help
Idk how it took me so long to realize this, but the IA bars come with various spacers of differing heights. Took an angle grinder to the 20 mm to cut in half at a guessed angle, clamped both pieces together in a vise, and ground down the top surface to the desired angle. Needed to drill out the threads as well. They obviously fit perfectly, the only issue is the bolt doesnât sit flush with the V3 extension clamp, but the 20ish deg angle shouldnât be overly problematic on just the head.
good deal!
Great call, I saw TarenĂ´s video grinding the ventums spacer but I seem to have problem with parallel drilling-
Also ordered the cheap armrest spacers from aerocoach (sum plus 60 dollars to get the to argentina by fedex), they are very good quality but could not use them to raise my aerobars-

I am thinking of a more unorthodox method like Krisblummfelt modded his GIANT (check pic). Feel simple, if I can manage to make drawing and spec can build it in aluminium angled bar and CNC machine for little money and also can help me foward on the saddle-
Any thoughts?
just buy some high rise poles from USE.
The stuff I built out in shapeways, (prior page) is essentially an angled cut down across a riser, but with a top piece that fits the v3
.
dcohen24 - Are your Shapeways riser kits still available if I order?
Thanks!
Aerocoach has a set up also. I have it that I never used I think also I could sell.
Are you sure the AeroCoach works directly on the IAX-seriesââŹÂŚdirect mount to the fully molded Dagger base bar? Spacing is only like 10-12mm.
Did you look on their site?
And yeah, was for my old IA4.
I did, but shows for ââŹĹIA AdvancedââŹÂ, so wasnââŹâ˘t sure as the Advanced was sold with both a integrated Dagger stem/base bar, as well as the round ââŹĹclip-onââŹÂ style aero/base bar, so wasnât certain.
Shape ways is still printing them
I still ride them⌠Ive only really made the 10 degree version though
Looks like shapeways is out of business? Any other option?
Read above. Aerocoach. I forget I used to have those also.
I looked at those as well as fast TT. Both good options.
B4 I go that route Iâm going to try and modify the 10mm block with 10 degree angle and slightly ovalize the holes. Mount them on top of the bridge. That in combo with PD ASC extensions and angled armrest pads should get me to about 22 degrees.
