Heard a lot of chatter about the P4 having all sorts of problems with Zipp 1080’s and Sub Disc and HED Jet 90’s (C2). Has anyone had any issues of compatibility with the DA? It appears that plenty of clearance is available but just checking before I jump into wheel selection.
whatever works on a standard road bike will work in the DA. Brake calipers is another story ![]()

1080 and Sub9 discs fit with no problem as does the new HED and Mavic Comete. 1080 is the stock rear wheel on the DA.
As for the brakes, the issue is not one of fitment to the frame, it is most often a case of the caliper being too wide to fit between the crank arms. You do not need to find a special rear brake. The TRP series as well as Shimano Dura Ace fit just fine, and if you are into the super-bling, Zero Gravity and the new KCNC brake fit as well.

i have no issues with the sub9 on the da (of course I don’t have any issues on my p3c either)…
and the 0g rear brake is a perfect fit, fwiw.

No problems here. Good to go: sub 9 disk, HED bulge disk, etc.
Here’s a photo of me racing on a B2 Pro from last year (same rear end as DA) using a sub 9 disk. Plenty of clearance:
