Considering retail price was $9199, yeah, I would say that’s not too bad of a deal.

I have been searching high and low for a DA and with what your saying what is on the bike
I think it is a very nice price point.

did you buy it?, where was this?, they have more??

I saw a 2008 Felt DA yesterday at a local shop, doesn’t sound so good as your deal, the build (by the shop) is:

  • SRAM Front and Rear der (think they are Force)
  • Carbon brakes SRAM
  • Carbon shifter SRAM
  • Oval carbon aero set up
  • Carbon cranks SRAM
  • Blackwell 50 carbon clincher

The bike looked great, asking $5.5k which I thought was pretty decent, but now reading your post not so sure…

Any comments? Is SRAM better or as good as the Shimano Durace??

No I didn’t buy…decided to not spend that much.

The bike just got posted again on ebay. It’s a size 50cm frame with 650c wheels.

So, actually I was back to the shop today and really like this DA SRAM bike, the only downside is that I dont need another set of wheels, I already have brand new zip 808’s and Hed 3’s so dont need the blackwell research carbon clincher 50’s, the shop wont sell them without the bike so if I want it have to buy as is and then try and sell those wheels. Anybody know how the demand for a brand new set of blackwell research 50 carbon clinchers with tires?, what price could I get for them?
