I purchased a Gen II iBike with the hopes of getting it set up over the winter - never happened. I then upgraded to a Gen III (the newest and latest version of iBike) iPro iBike. I have two sets of wireless sensors (cadence and speed) as I wanted to set up the system for both my training bike and my racing bike. I also have the remote wind sensor for use with aerobars or what have you…
I have come to the conclusion that I am not savy enough to use all “bells and whistles” that the iBike can offer - and I am finding that I am more familar with using heart rate (old school) as opposed to power (gasp - I know…).
So I was wondering if anyone would be interested in purchasing the setup…
You would be getting both the Gen II and Gen III iBikes (so you can either sell one and use the other or use both on two different bikes);
2 sets of wireless mounts and sensors (both are stem low angle mounts) + speed and cadence sensors;
the remote wind sensor for use with aerobars;
software;
etc.
I have tried to figure out how to use it - and perhaps used both units for a total of 250k’s each. I never did get the second wireless system setup - so the complete gear is still in bags.
If you are a bit more technie than me - or you have the time and energy to get this all set up - it is a very reasonable way to measure output to use for training and racing.
I can send pics or additional information to anyone that is interested.
Cheers!
JR
PS - I did not upgrade to the trainer firmware - but that option would be available to anyone that purchased the computers.
