Anyone ever stay there?
We just booked our weekend.The website has some great pics.
Its about 1/2mile from the Mirror Lake Inn.
I figure it can’t be all that bad in that area of LP.

I think that is where a buddy stayed a few years back, nice place on top the hill (if it is the same place) go up the really steep hill and take a right - right there.

I think that’s where I stayed for camp and it was very nice… how did you pull that one off so close to the race? I am staying in the dorms:-)

That’s where I’m staying with my wife and kids. We have one of the cottages booked. I’ve stayed there twice before and like it. Has a nice grass sitting area looking out at Lake Placid.
Pool and hot tub and is across the street from a great sandwich shop.
The only downside is that steep hill that you have to climb on the way home after the race.
yep! 7am sharp. i’ll be swimming, following by a 84 miles ride:-) I am the one with the wetsuit

you little brat! the dorms are just fine. I am not racing, going 3 nights, I can’t see why i would pay 249$ a night… I’d camp if it wasn’t for all the bike stuff

Wait! I was wrong…my other buddy stayed there last year…it is up the hill from the Ramada, but not as far as HoJo’s…very nice place…the pool if I recall is lake water…why not just swim in the lake.
I am staying there right now It isn’t bad,our cabin is not terribly close to what the website looks like but we are managing. I am just worried about walking to the start on Monday as there is a big hill I have to walk up.
We got a double room,not a cabin.
How many stars would you rate it?
I guess its not that big a deal since we’ll only be in the room to sleep and shower.
Maybe we’ll see you.
