Fed Speak, i.e. Your Tax Dollars at Work

Cut and paste and (sic) and whatever therefore, from a three, page doc which in itself is impossible, to read, and understand regarding the response; to HUD work which is not sufficient, for the Supervisor, to document the regulations of the proponent of the responsible party to whom the action was promulgated, and therefore and whatnot all due to the fact that certain of laws must be followed, circumspect with the fact that public funding has, in the course of the matter, been promulgated to pay for the entire mess and so forth.

May we quote:

In the Ea the documented supporting resource specialist’s analysis has to be included in that Ea. The documentation includes details of the environment affected (present environment) and effects (into the future) of the alternatives including the proposed and or action alternative or alternatives. These parts of the documented analysis would include short and longterm and cumulative effects respective to the resources combined as well as the irreversible and irretrievable commitment of resources reasonably known. Reasoning should be included to support the analysis of the EA to establish and support alternatives documented in the EA which should be fairly clear. This is needed so the deciding official in this case, the Superintendent can articulate the benefits of the reason the alternative can and was selected from the documentation provided in the EA when asked.

Please do keep in mind the fact that this document, the project, the consultants, the land, the development and the very existance of all parties involved is a function of your tax dollars. Every bit of it. None of it will produce anything and all of it will continue to cost over its (considerable) lifetime.

Plain language is a civil right.
