Anyone heard of these. I saw a set (400.00) at my LBS. was just curious how much lighter they were than my dura ace and how they compared on stopping power. The owner said they were very impressive in both weight and stopping. But $400.00-Ouch
Got a link?
Sorry, I am trying to jog my memory-sometimes it is even slower than I am. I think they me be the new zero-gravity brakes. I thought I saw “featherweight” on the box. But I remember the owner saying how much better they were than last years zero gravity brakes. So I am not sure if they were a different brand or a mewer model. Now that I have looked I see they probably do not even compare to these-“Gravitas.” http://www.zerogravitybike.com/
Did you mean KCNC CB1 (168 g pair)?

They’re Feather brakes, and they’re both lighter (sub 200 grams including hardware) and better braking than ZG’s at the same price.
There are knock-offs of these brakes out, but they do not work nearly as well, and are often mistaken for Feather’s. In reality, they were early, pre-production, Feather designs now being sold by the Taiwanese manufacturer.
Road magazine did a 5 or 6 page write up on them recently. Go to www.featherbrakes.com for more info.
Road magazine did a review last year. Great guys and amazing product.
The only drag is the carriers are blue stock and any other color is an upgrade. So they ended being pretty pricey after the color change.

arent the KCNC brakes ~160 grams?
