DeSoto? Craft? …any others? one piece tri suit or separates?..or does it depend on the race length?
I like one peice suits becasue they make me look slimmer. Comfortable too.
De Soto Powersuit is my suit of choice. Most comfortable for all disciplines and has those handy mesh pockets in the legs to free up your hands on the run.
I’m eager to bust out my new TSR kit on March 12th (1st race of the season). That’s the UBC Tri for all you Vancouver peeps. It’s gonna be a showdown with SimpleS, powergyoza, myself, and likely a few other ST’ers toeing the line.
I’ll be bringing up the rear. 
I like one piece suits but have yet to find one that is small enough on top/large enough in the legs.
Padded speedo and if its cold, a technical shirt, but usually not.
Orca Pro one piece race suit is quite nice - very cool fabric and fast in the water. Only drawback is price and there is no back pocket

As for race wear, I love the Sugoi 1pc tri suits for Sprints. If it’s OLY or longer, gotta go 2 pce, I prefer my cropped Oomph top with the short short Louie Garneau tri shorts, the ones with the seethru panels on the sides… sexy and functional. Makes my butt look good.

Tyr 2 piece or Orca 1 piece.
I like Tyr b/c the fabric in the short is very durable and a bit thicker. So…you can wear it tight w/o showing off your ass like most other brands…
Although, I still wear bike shorts at IM
I’ve used my tsr gear for a couple of training sets so far, and it’s real comfortable, I’ll be racing in it all year.

Rat bastard… I’m not a retailer or anything like that, just that our local shops have a plethora of Sugoi stuff all eyar round, summer race stuff might even be on sale… I hit their sample sale once a year, load up. Last time around, got 4 prs bike shorts, 6 running shirts, 2 prs running shorts, 2 jerseys, a pair of crop pants, and a poly bathing suit for $100CDN. Maybe next year, I’ll take a shopping list from STers
