So there I was…just before the swim start. My buddies wife was going to take care of my dry clothing bag for me, that was great. I got into my Orca and thought I was ready…I handed her the bag with my dry stuff for after (and before the race). Off I went and mere seconds later I noticed that I had forgot my swim cap and goggles in the bag! Frantically I tried to find her and was not able to. I went to a table and told them that I had lost my cap and goggles. A very kind woman told me that it was not an issue, got me a new cap and took out a box. In the box were goggles - she was a bit shy about showing them to me…my god I was psyched!!!

Here they are - was this fate or what?

not fate … destiny … you are so brave ; ). so how stinky was the dog after the mud bath at the horse show grounds ?

You may or may not remember me but as you took the first hard right to go up the steep hill towards Northwood Academy (coming back into LP) you road by me. I remembered that pic of your pink bike and yelled out “hey Record10carbon”, not knowing your name. You turned your head quick and gave me a big thumbs up.
