Fastest lap of central park

what is your fastest time from the loop? indicate whether male or female.

bike or run?

sorry, bike!

The almost 7 mile loop? 23mph, but its also somewhat dependent on foot/car traffic. I bet I’ll be faster when I get my new Reynolds Strike’s though. I’m male, 26, on a P3C bone stock.

Never done it but curious as to how far around it is?

The almost 7 mile loop?
It’s pretty spot on 6 miles.

I don’t know why I thought it was 6.83. There is only one way to do the main outer loop right?

I’m so certain because I ran the 10k this Saturday and it was the full loop plus some.

I believe you; I’m going to scrutinize my cyclometer the next time I ride in the park. I usually do 3-4 loops when I do go.

The loop is around 6.1 miles, almost a 10k
.

I hope this link to nyrr works. If not, the site lists the mileages of the various loops:

14:12 on a 1995 Trek 700 converted to a fixie with bullhorns. Would have been slightly faster but my legs were spinning out on the downhill into 110th, and I had to hit the brakes.

21.6 mph average for two laps.

It’s 6.06 miles around, according to many, many measurements by my garmin.
