What is considered a good rate for individual swimming lessons from a certified coach?

My rate was 30 for a half hour lesson or you could buy 5 @ 25 a piece… but that was set by the club that I coached with. People will charge what they want. I think 40-70 an hour is about what to expect. You can try to get a group of people say three or four to do weelky practice/lessons with a coach and save a few bucks.
really depends on what you want. In Boulder you can go to a beginners masters class 5 times a week for about 80 a month and get some of the best coaching/teaching in the country. People like Jane Scott, Wolfgang Detrich, Tiffany Forbes, and Curt Colby. Great deal and a fantastic learning environment.
