F2C or Soloist

I’m looking at getting a road bike. I don’t want to destroy the bank on this buy. I like the F2C and the Soloist. Any like or dislike you have with either. This bike most likely will not pull double duty as tri bike. I already have a tri bike. I just want a good sound road bike set up.

Thanks for input

John

Get a Kestrel Talon, smooth ride, excellent power transfer, totally aero.

I saw the Felt Carbon being ridden by the MidWest Felt Rep (In San Diego) last weekend. Great looking bike.

Test ride both bikes if you can and get the one you like the best.

I have a 2004 team soloist… which i use in road comformation… i think its a great bike… however I’ve never even seen a Felt… so I can’t compare…
I would say whichever one you a) like better, and b) fits and thus rides better for you.
Personally I think with road bikes because they’res such a range out there that it should be whatever bike just screams “ride me”.
If your considering the 2005 Soloist Team, I would for sure check out the R2.5… I’m quite partial to the new Chorus stuff, is beautiful!!
I live in Canada, so I was also checking out some of the local custom builders as well… but I dunno where your located…
Guru, Bianchi, Giant all make some nice stuff too… (Giant TCR composite)

-hope this helps
