How is this listing for a strange tri-bike? It could be awesome for some of those nasty rough roads you find in some races ![]()
Promise not to bid on it and I’ll let you ride it on tuesdays, ok? ![]()
We’re such an elitist bunch of assholes, but I love it!
I’ll bet it’s a lot of fun to ride.
Looks like maybe it once belonged to Bilbo Baggins back in his racing days before he left the Shire.

LOL! I wasn’t going to check out the link, but after your post I just had to check it out. Very nice! Dying here thinking about it now ![]()
Ha!
I thought everyone used these in Xterra races?
I can’t believe it got 12 bids

.
wow.
so here is a puzzle for you: is that a 130mm (road) or 135mm (mtn) mm rear hub?
My favorite feature is the behind the seat water bottle cage.
My guess is that those bidders are trying to get the bike on the cheap because it is so odd, and then sell off the parts for a profit. Heck the Spinergy’s alone can get $200+/pair in eBay.
Sa Weeeet!
Now I know what to do with an old Super V1000 I have in my garage. Anyone know if those are 650c or 700c wheels?
Chris
OMG!!! WTF!!! a cannondale super-v set up as a tri bike. Now Ive seen it all. I used to rida a bike like that, but I used it for what it is made for…mountain biking.
They are 26 inch (MTB size). Spinergy made the RevX in a mountain bike version for a few years. But seriously, that bike is completely whacked.
Definitely 650c wheels, that frame is stock. THere was a time when that was THE mountain bike to have… ah such good memories. I remember when my frined got his super V and we stood and looked at it for like 20 minutes before we went to ride, and i felt like dirt getting back onto my GIant Iguana full rigid bike. “Shocks, pegs, lucky!”
That’s what everybody is riding in North Dakota.
