Externally adjustable tilt block?

For aero testing I loath full disassemble of the extensions to access a tilt block.

Anyone make an externally adjustable tilt block?

Otherwise it is buying a bunch of separate fixed tilt blocks and still pfaffing around in your kit and bike shoes to replace stack spacers and fixed tilt blocks

Two years back I couldn’t find any.

like this ?

super convenient for tilt and reach.

What bike and bar are you using?

The UK Carbon Wasp.

What you posted the extensions would still bolt over the access hole to the screw for adjustment. Or you would have some mega long reach bolting the extensions to the far part to leave the hole exposed.

This seems an industry standard issue with adjustable tilt blocks. All of them have a hidden bolt to tighten the top and lower halves together. Then you attach the extensions to the top half.

They need to make tilt blocks where the screw holding the halves together tightens from the side so you leave the stack tower and extensions in place.

The problem with your suggestion is you place all the load directly on a bolt due to sheer load and that’s really dangerous. That’s why most brands use bolt up or down designs. I offer a tilt bracket with an offset wing but it would depend on your width needs and where your risers are the bolts for tilt may still be hidden by your bars. If you look at well designed dusl stack base bars the bolts that affect tilt are from the bottom and those 2 bolts tightening or loosening change tilt, example profile design. If you adapting an older bar then most tikt blocks will be top down unless you go custom design, what bike and base at are you trying to improve with tilt?

A Trinity.

Plenty of shelf tilt blocks of fixed angles. Just was a zoo being in bike shoes and kit roadside trying to fiddle with stack spacers, tilt blocks and bolt.

I figured there was a reason.

I tried mounting the tilt block upside down but getting correct length bolts thru the cam nuts was a nightmare. They were too long or short to get enough tilt adjustment without removing.

not sure what you mean. But we adjust tilt in seconds

We use these to find ultimate position, before translating to a “fancier” cockpit.

BTW, I think those prices are in NZ$

I’ll need new pictures. I’ll lay out what I have in the parts bin and take a cockpit photo as is.

Post pad width center to center as well as riser bolts center to center of left and right stack then I can see if my parts could help or not

130 towers, 115 pads c to c, 20 deg skis, reach 457, stack 690 mm
