What is the make and model of Timo’s extensions?
Looks like a SMART set-up. If you go over to Simon Smarts website there a several pictures of guys running basically the same setup in UK Time Trials. Not sure if they are available to the general public though.
If I had to guess, I’d say they are USE Tula extensions mounted “backwards”.
The USE Tula single-bend extensions are available in a bunch of different angles to dial in the amount of “rise” you end up with.

I have scanned Smart’s site, no dice on the bars.
If you by chance come across this setup I’d be grateful if you could update the thread or PM. Have tried with so many bends to achieve this position, but never able to fully hit it. Thanks

I have sent several email and no reply. I ordered the tririg extensions and got them cut to size last night and I will mount them today. Unfortunately I don’t think they will work. They only have a 16 deg bend and don’t give me enough rise. My fall back plan is to make my own. I know of a good shop with a tube bender and they can also anodize. All I need to do is to order some 22.2mm tube stock.
I’m pretty sure Dans on to something. Looks like ski bends just mounted the opposite way.
I stuck my 3T ski bends in when this thread came up initially, but way too abrupt vertically. Omega’s didn’t work for me either. If you source some good 22.2 and find a bender let me know I might go that route too.
I have looked at that and the problem I run into with my setup is that the short “up turned” section is too short so I don’t get enough reach.

Find any new ideas? I have googled my brains out looking for Timo’s setup!

Try these backwards?
My google fu is not working and I have received no email replies. I am going to stick with the tri rig extensions until Spring when I can get outside and do more testing. I am getting about 50 mm rise from the tri rigs. I “think” I need about 60-70 but like I said I want to test some more before I make my own. Here is a pic of the current setup. Please let me know if you find any info.
