Does anyone have experience with the reliability of the Neosport wetsuits? Is the old saying “you get what you pay for” applicable to this product, or is it really a good deal?
good question. They are certainly a lot less expensive and I was thinking about getting a farmer john for local, early-summer swimming (as I can’t zip my Helix by myself) and I’d hate to buy an expensive suit for 5 swims a year. I have looked at them at a local dive shop and the farmer john, which doesn’t need as much design help to allow shoulder movement, seems like a fine suit.
I bought one of the johns from ebay last season and used it for 2 sprints. Worked well for me. Compared to my newly aquired QR superfull, the material is thicker. The quality/craftmanship is good, and for 100 bucks, it’s hard to beat. I have the Large size for sale if anyone’s interested.
