Your readers would love the Blackwell saddle, as well.

Thanks for your help.

Nice photos and review. Keep up the good work.

As I’ve said many a time- bars with an integrated stem are stuuu-pid. Where’s your adjustability? I’m in the design process for a custom ti bike. You might think that since it’s a full custom, I could design it around bars like this or Vision Tech to get the right top tube, etc. I could, but it still wouldn’t work. I’m going to have two setups on the bike- both with Ritchey Pro stems. One as a -17 degree and no spacers for TT’s, and I can get up to 4 cm higher with another stem- a -6 degree, and some spacers underneath. I kind of have a unique situation with the dual setups on the same bike, but I think most people can benefit from the adjustability of a separate bar and stem.

With these, unless you are married to a stem length, there’s quite a bit more adjustability than the VTs. I would say they are closer to the Profiles in terms of adjustability. I would not say that they are as infinitely adjustable like the Profiles, but they seem certainly less rickety than extremely adjustable bars, as well.

Steve told me about his new ones that can accept a stem, which I lick my chops even hearing about these. But they are not here until next year.

Dual setups make sense. There is a new stem coming out that would allow you to use a carbon steer tube run in very odd configurations, even with ten 20mm spacers, as well. I hope I can get my hands on one soon.

Thanks for the accolades. Stay tuned, as I am scooping myself a bit here---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I am going to anodise my ti bars, as well. Pics will come.

bars with an integrated stem are stuuu-pid

That’s why I have my Hed’s w/ S-bends on order (I’m NOT Stuuu-pid anymore!)
.

Is it just the camera angle, or do the basebars angle slightly forward? Or is it straight?

They sweep slightly forward.

I can’t wait 'til I have a space for a proper photo studio.

bunnyman,

any further information or updates on the bars?

I routed cables through them, which was relatively easy; however, the holes will be larger.

Will mount them on my new/old bike that will be featured on the blog.
