Everyone's invited - old fashioned weight workout

Anyone looking to do a few hours of old-fashioned heavy weight training this weekend in suburbia just north of Toronto?? For those of you downtown I am 55 km from Union Station. Ride up do some weights and ride home.

I need to move 30 metric tonnes of stone from my front yard to my backyard by wheelbarrow. That is right - about 66,138 pounds. At 150 pounds per wheelbarrow that is 441 wheelbarrows full.

The access is too narrow for any machinery so I am reduced to the wheelbarrow. Send me a pm if you are interested.

Might be easier to just turn your house around.

Can’t get a Bobcat in there? Not much wider than a wheelbarrow.

Trust me - I looked into it. The slope on the side of the house is just wide eonough but not stable enough for a bobcat. even the little baby one that is only like 36" wide.

yeah but then I would have to close the blinds when I got changed at night…

Well that sucks. I’d help if I wasn’t tearing up my yard this weekend. Drains toward the house, killing my foundation.

What about a lawn tractor and trailer?

Haven’t you seen Robert Redford in “The Last Castle”? Haul all those stones, by hand, one-by-one and you could end up looking like RobRed.

I’m not gonna give you any of those “I’d help ya but …” lines, b/c I’m not gonna help ya. I will sympathize with your situation. It is gonna suck.

What’s the situation with the narrow opening? If it is a gated fence, I’d take a section of the fence down, and rebuild that section. I have to ask, did you think about the transport situation before purchase? I’m asking, just to know if this was expected or a shocker.

Check out “Dinosaur Training” for inspiration. http://brookskubik.com/ (One of the best books I have read. Motivating.)

Could you rent one of these?

I’d help you, but I live in Florida and am under doctors orders not to lift more than 10 lbs.

You need to locate “damn,” who told us in the “Have you ever done anything iron-worthy?” thread that he excavated a basement beneath his existing house - with a shovel and wheelbarrow.

Shape of the yard.

Yeah I knew this was coming. Just trying to have a little fun with it.

Good Luck Man.
