Everyday running in elastic laces

Can running in elastic laces lead to injury if used everyday?

I can vouch for how much time they save in transition- today my t1 and t2 were both under 45 seconds (The tri bacame a duathlon due to 54 degree water- so easier T1 into running shoes)

I just don’t feel like taking them out, but if they’ll aggravate my plantar fasciitis, I guess I’ll have to.

I used to run with mine in all the time. So long as your shoes are secure on your feet, I don’t think there should be a problem, but I’m no doctor.

thanks

I run with “yanks” the entire season. For offseason and marathoning I don’t wear them.

Well, I am a Podiatrist - leave 'em in if you want. You should have no ill effects except possibly for long runs when your feet swell. May get a little tight on top. Should have no “more” effect on your plantar fasciitis (just do your stretches!) than laces.

I never take mine out. Call me lazy, but i’ve never had any problems
