Well, Your Honor, it all started when this teenager made fun of my shorts. So to defend my honor I yelled at him. When they got out of the car I knew I could run away but I didn’t want to look like a wimp in front of some teenagers, right? So I stood my ground and snapped their necks. I mean really, what else was I supposed to do?
Same thing I was thinking.
I like to see their reaction when I say things back.
I had some kids squeeze me off the road one day during a bike ride, but unfortunately for them I caught up with them at a stop light. Up went the windows when I rolled up next to the driver side door. I yelled through the window that I would “Yank 'em outta the car and beat the sh*t outta them!!!” They got the message. A few days later I saw the car in a parking lot with a lady driving this time. I asked her if her son was driving her car the other day. She called her husband when I told her the story about the kids.
Revenge is sweet 
If the best someone can come up with is some lame comment about my clothing, I let it slide.
I did drop an F bomb laced tirade this weekend on a driver who rolled through a 4 way stop I had planned on rolling through. (Didn’the know cyclists and not drivers get to ignore 4 way stops???). He didn’t hear me because he had the windows rolled up and he was talking on the cellphone but there were at least 3 groups of parents with little kids out walking who were in earshot. They looked like they were kind of wishing the guy had managed to hit me . . . .
I’ve dealt out some “payback” to motorists more than once but the worst examples of rough justice I have ever seem have all come from cyclists and triathletes who are cops.More than one guy has gone from hero to zero after being dragged out of his car to face the jury.

I once passed a guy while riding and he yelled at me to slow down. I was in a bad mood and yelled something back. I then proceeded to pull over and wait for him to catch up. As he approached I asked him to step off his bike so I could beat the shit out of him. He didn’t pull over so I rode behind him telling him what a pussy he was.
Probably not the smartest move on my part but, as I said, I was in a bad mood.
