Where’s the love for Cadel outside of Autralia. Man give the guy some support…he’s doing pretty well for a mtb rider…
Personally, I would like to see Cadel win. I think a lot of people got sick of all the “where’s the love” posts that were coming out of Oz for Macca. I know that that they weren’t posted by you but by other less subjective posters.

I’ve been cheering for Evans since his incredible Giro ~2002 (can’t remember the year). I still want to see him attack the pants off the Chicken and Contador for at least one stage this year. I realize the strategy to stage racing is to pick the battles, maintain contact in the mountains and kills the TT’s made fashionable by Indurain (although he did kill some mountain stages too…like that solo victory into the fog in 1994), but the excitement of being a cycling fan is to see carnage all over the place levied by the final champion. To date, the credit for that is going to the Chicken…missed doping tests or not!
It’s more than missed doping tests by Chicken…you have seen the other allegations, right? They ought to boot his ass just like they did to all the Operation Puerto guys last year.

Cadel was broken by Contador yesterday and exposed as the pretender he is!!! If he is a “mtb rider” then he should go back to that sport and leave road racing to the men!
They booted Contador’s ass last year because of liberty sequos and pureto and then completly exonorated him. Do you want the same thing to happen to Rasmussen? He may be guility, but proof first please, not some body who may have done something but kept quiet till he got in the yellow jersey and 4 missed tests(although they are 2 uci and 2 dane, which is why he not banned apparently he has not missed 3 by any one body). He may well be guilty, but rather a guilty man gets away with it than an innoncent man punished for something he did not do.
That said, i’m pulling for a Contador win.
Rasmussen isn’t doing to badly for an MTB rider either… (=
Don’t write Evans off just yet. Still a long TT to go. And I think the Chicken just turned in the TT of his life the other day - the next one could be a totally different story. I’m just happy to be able to watch an exciting Tour. Gotta love Evans and his not-so-elegant form, head tilted to the right, elbows sticking out, gritting his teeth. I’m pulling for him too.
