Everywhere I look, this movie is getting shelled as the worst movie of 2007. I went and saw this movie with my kids and I honestly have to say that it was a nicely done family movie. Sure, I laughed more at my kids laughing at the movie than I did at the movie itself, but from what I saw, there has to be a worse movie than this.

There are plenty of terrible movies this year. I think this one is getting slammed for its cost relative to its box office take.
It wasn’t a bad movie. It wasn’t great, but certainly not the worst film of the year.

What makes their opinion any more informed or valid than anyone else’s.
I ask because I find it hilarious that a person could be an “expert” at watching/evaluating movies. Aren’t we all?
What is it in particular that the critics are giving for this? The initial review I read indicated this movie was far better than Bruce Almighty.
