I love this website but I’m in need for a forum with EU people as I’m trying to get some info on EU Irons and 1/2 Irons. I’ve heard a few EU guys talk about using this site for questions on races in the U.S. so I wonder if there is something for EU races. Thanks for the advice.
There are a lot of Europeans on this forum. There are also a lot of non-Europeans on this forum who have done a lot of races in Europe. I live in the U.S. but have done more Euro IMs than U.S IMs. Every time that I needed info on a Euro race, folks here have given me all the info that I needed.
The only other place that may have more info is the Facebook page of individual races that you are considering.
I don’t know of an EU Forum or site other than the European Triathlon Union http://etu.triathlon.org/ - there is a list of the individual national Federations on there
However, there are a lot of country (and language) specific sites, for instance in the UK I’d suggest Tritalk.co.uk as a forum, the folks there are also fairly clued up about many of the races in other EU countries.
If you can narrow down which country (or countries) within the EU you are interested in then we might be able to suggest specific sites.
Try onlinetri.com but it’s in French. Most speak reasonable English. You will read the same stuff there: your seat’s too high, he’s a doper/drafter, lifting or not, etc.
