Eurobike 2007 Time Trial Bike Photos

I just returned from Eurobike. I won’t take up a lot of space with photos on this forum. So, I’ve posted them at www.turquand.blogspot.com. I’ve posted just a handful of bikes. Irondad’s captured many of the same plus a lot of other goodies. Enjoy. - Turq

Did you see the Felt Curbside? any pics of it by anychance?

Thanks for sharing. I like the P2C color scheme and agree with you on the P3C, it doesn’t look good. Too broken up and the large lettering on the seat tube needs to go.

“Ripples is my training partner. My wife gave her to me late last year as a present for not buying another Cervelo.”

Your blog is awesome.

Seems Cervelo needs to have at least one hideous looking frame every year - guess it was the P3C’s turn. I do like the look of the P2C though, would look better with a red fork, though.

Thanks for posting these.

I made a google seach for you and the pictures are there

Do you know how SICK an ALL White P3C would be. I’d drop the coin tomorrow for one if I didn’t already hava a bike sponsor. Always liked Cervelo’s stuff.

all very interesting. thanks.

no one knows for sure until you go to the tunnel, but i would bet good money that neither the new orbea nor the new kuota will be very slippery, at least compared to current state-of-the-art production tt frames (no brand mentioned).

Wow… the new P3C is hideous! Too bad.

No photos for you of the Felt Cruiser. If I’m thinking of the same bike, they had a few different models. None of them were aero enough for my camera (just kidding).

The Orbea may not be terribly aero, but it has the radar cross section of a small bird.

Storck had two versions of that TT bike at the 2006 Eurobike show with the same paint and both bikes had bad cracks. Maybe Storck just finally was able to build one without cracks for 2007. But why have same paint?

Kinda has the Pinarello color style to it.

The Orbea is like a stealth bomber. Since I swim so poorly, I now will have a bike to sneak up on everyone who kicked my butt in the water.

Unfortunately, it seems that the Orbea may share some other characteristics with the stealth bomber. The F-117 was designed with the major emphasis being on how it “looked” to radar. Aerodynamics were very secondary. The plane is totally unflyable without dynamic computer stabilization, and it is not particularly aerodynamic. The Orbea seems to be similarly designed - an emphasis on how it looks to consumers. Looking fast and being fast are not always the same.

I thought with that new array of swimming hardware you’ve got on hand you won’t be getting dropped in the water?

Hey Rappstar,
doesn’t your buddy jonnyo ride an Orbea? He seams pretty fast to me.

Your blog is awesome.

Agreed. That was a fun read, thanks for sharing Turq

Thanks for sharing man. These are great pics. Curious to know, what ever happened to the Kuota Kuake? Is this model not coming out?

I like the P3C, it is a big improvement over last year’s rather boring design. The graphics are perhaps a bit over the top, but not nearly as bad as some other companies that start with “Special”. The silver is different, and complements the red and the black on the frame very nicely while still lightening the appearance of the frame.
