Does this mean you are back from the time trial world?
No. Can’t run is can’t run. I have moved on to spending money on bikes and wrecking them with tools in my garage. I must say that I am enjoying only having to work one sport 8-10 hours a week.
I think you should start running barefoot. Lord knows the soles of your feet are tough enough by now. Don’t remember the exact problem, but I am tempted to take the minimalist shoe route to prevent injuries going forward. Doing lots of reading on how lots of these “motion control” shoes are doing more harm than good vis-a-vis good running form. Just a thought.
