Has anyone received an email/heard anything about today’s lottery for the remaining entries?

And I think I already know the answer, but if it doesn’t work-out are there any other ways to get into the race? How are they with transfers, etc. I know it’s probably stated somewhere on their website but the website isn’t entirely straightforward and my internet connection is incredibly slow. Thought you all may be able to help.

That’s disgusting. First the oil spill and now this…and both due to operator error!? I hope there are some serious repercussions for those responsible for polluting our precious water.

Congrats to everyone who is doing escape from Alc this year! It is definetly in my top 10 races to do in my triathlon career. But… I came across this interesting article today in the paper this morning (richmond times dispatch A2) where Da Vid, and thats his real name, wants to tear down Alcatraz to build a “global peace center”. I don’t know, but it seems to me that “Escape from Alcatraz” has a slightly more appealing ring than “Escape from Global Peace Center Island”.
