You can customize your display screen to whatever is important to you while riding.
We’ve been using this update for about 3 months now (my athletes are beta testers) It is a very cool feature having as much or as little data on screen!
This is AWESOME! I’ve got mine set up now for D1 as 8.2:
Watts - AvgWatts
RPM - WattNP
Speed - AvgSpeed
RideTime - distance
I’ve really been wanting to have current watts and average watts on the same screen for a loooong time. That and having to click so far to get to the distance…ugh. I don’t really care that much about having NP watts on the screen…suggestions for something else there?

OK…I did the download, followed the steps, hit the PC button to transfer…said it transfered and nothing???what gives?

Alright, a stupid computer question for you all. I downloaded the file but when I tried to open it, my computer said it didn’t have the proper program to do it with. Went through the “search the internet” option and no luck. What am I doing wrong here?

I have used this since beginning of may, and I have to say that I love it. No need to go inbetween the different screens anymore… The only time I do that is if I want to see my avg speed, but I guess that speed doesn’t really matter in training:).
I recommend that you should download the manual and read it first. My software wasn’t working at the beginning , but I wasn’t figuring out how to work with the software.
Make sure you have all the latest software (firmware) loaded first - it won’t operate correctly w/o it… Went through the process yesterday as soon as I saw the download was available - and talked to the local distributer (he’s the one that filled me in on the tip).
Awesome features w/ the 8.2 screen - can’t wait to put it to work at IMUSA!

Ummmm…well there are two relevant files. One is the pdf which is Adobe Acrobat format, the other is a compressed archive using WinZip. If you don’t have either of these programs you can do a search and find:
http://www.adobe.com/products/acrobat/readstep2.html
and
http://www.winzip.com/downwz.htm
or an alternate and faster archiver WinRAR:
http://www.rarlabs.com/download.htm
Both of the archivers are trial versions. If you are on some bizarre OS like the Mac then…good luck!
