I am installing my ergomo next week and was wondering if anyone has pics of their installs, cable routing, computer mount, ect that they could post that would be very helpful.
Thanks
Well, if I could figure out how to post pictures, I’d show some pictures of how routed mine.
But basically, it’s pretty simple. You’ll have two cables, one going back along the left chainstay and the other going up the downtube to the bars for the Ergomo to connect to. As opposed to using a ton of tie wraps, I used colored tape so the cables are routed along the bottom and tape keeps it in place. For the cable going to the Ergomo, once it made it to the headtube, I wound it up the brake cable. If I had more time and patience, I’d find some shrink wrap and put the brake cable & Ergomo cable into the wrap and the shrink it down, so it would end up looking like one (oval?) cable. This might be a bit more aero than the wound cable, if nothing else, it would be unique as I’ve not seen this done elsewhere (though can’t imagine I’m the first one to think of it - maybe I should get out more). On the chainstay, I stuck the sensor on top of the stay, probably better on the bottom, but again, no proof with either.
Tape may not work out for you, since my bike is red & black I just found red & black tape and BAM! done.
Let me know if you’ve got any questions.

how did you run the tape up the tube? on the side? or on the bottom (facing the ground)?
No tape. just put a slight touch of glu every 3in or so along the cable and run it under the tube.
neat and clean.
email them to me @ racerx9966@gmail.com and I will post them.
Thanks

Hope that gives you some ideas. Like I said, the only things different I’d do (and may do this winter) are move the rear sensor below the stay and use shrink wrap on the brake cable. Oh, also, the mount there is the optional one, not the one that comes with it (or at least with what I got). I still would like to find a way to mount it 90 degrees to the stem, just haven’t found a clean way yet. It’s like a semi-aero brick as it is now. ![]()
Oh, and if anyone wonders, the Calfee fork (Reynolds) was a temp solution. Getting a Oval Concepts Jetstream mid-week. ![]()
Also, if anyone has any alternatives / suggestions - like using glue, I’d be curious to hear them.

My new mounting is on a small cantilevered cf bar attached to the base bar with industrial velcro and screwed onto the Ergomo head unit. Works great, unit is easy to read and operate, super secure and removeable for packing or downloading.
My older version is somewhere here on the Forum but was prone to bouncing off while riding:P
Wiring is run up the bottom of the downtube and secured under a 1" strip of black vinyl decal.
and yes, my arm pads are mega wide…

nothing to add other than this one is mounted in a road handlebar ![]()

.
Why don’t you slide it to the left a little so it’s centered?
the pic is angled,
but does it make a difference?
Judging by the angle of the tyre it would appear that the bike is leaning to the right and therefore the computer is centred but appears otherwise due to the perspective.

where can I find industrial velcro?
at home depot or lowes?
