i remember doing a huge study on great whites in school and a lot of it was focused on that area. i know shark attacks are rare, but holy god i would not want to swim there…
I used to live near there (Pacifica) and some claim its the biggest concentration of great whites in the world… since there are tons of sea lions there to feed off Great Whites have plenty to eat. I would not go anywhere near that place and would be leery even in a boat.
The chance of being attacked by a great white there isn’t that large, maybe 1 in 8.
