I am a triathlete and a doc with an interest in nutrition. Wondering if anyone knows the ins and outs of this “epic diet”. Just curious.

Basically Dan (Slowman) is posting his training and food intake (complete with calories) in this forum… I believe he started Monday… Each day he’s posting the Day with the Epic heading (if you scan a few pages… you’ll find “Epic Tuesday”… I believe he’s welcoming comments and suggestions… However, I believe his goal is more to stick with what he thinks will work by posting it for all of Slowtwitch to see… I hopped on the bandwagon yesterday (i’m at 172 and would like to get down to the 160’s)
Warning: he’s got an extreme goal of losing something ridiculous like 15 pounds in 3 weeks… Good luck trying to convince him that that’s too much ![]()
