Here’s your chance to join Sarah Reinertsen, “One Arm” Willie Stewart, soldiers wounded in Iraq and many other exceptional challenged athletes at the Nautica Malibu Triathlon, presented by Toyota, on Sept. 16 this year. The event is completely sold out, but MESP, the race organizer, has generously given the Challenged Athletes Foundation (CAF) the opportunity to sell an additional 50 spots to our friends and supporters. With those slots, CAF decided to put together TEAM CAF MALIBU and make the event more than just another race – we want it to be an experience you’ll remember for the rest of your life.
If you join TEAM CAF MALIBU, you’ll receive:
· Entry into the SOLD OUT Nautica Malibu Triathlon, presented by Toyota
· A CAF race uniform (custom tri-top and matching tri shorts)
· A chance to race alongside Sarah, Willie and their friends
· A team photo (taken before the event, in uniform), a copy of which will be sent to each member of TEAM CAF MALIBU
· A swim “warm-up” (led by a surprise celebrity guest) and beach party with lunch on Saturday, Sept. 15, from 11 am to 1 pm
· Inspirational pre-race pep talk from participating
challenged athletes

So how can you be a part of this great event and help make a difference in the lives of physically challenged athletes? It’s easy – just commit to raising $1,000 for CAF by Aug. 24. The weekend will be unforgettable and the funds you raise will help pay for specialized equipment, training and coaching expenses for deserving physically challenged athletes around the world.
