The attacks on trans people work because they are a small portion of the population who most people do not understand. Demonizing them works with the low information voter. Few people will research the fact that providing gender affirming care to prisoners is the law and that the Trump administration spent $65-95,000 per year on it when he was President. Few people will know that the Biden administration issued guidance that allowed Federations and schools to ban trans athletes…they will just watch the bad faith commercials and be scared.

So you think that fact that multiple boys and men have identified as females and won championships has absolutely nothing to do with it? You think that real people on social media saying that they are actually in favor of it has nothing to do with it? When South Park made an episode about Macho Man Randy Savage identifying as a woman and winning a bunch of events against women, do you think they were mocking conservatives?

And the fact that you personally refer to the opposition of MtF trans people from beating women in women’s sports as “attacks on trans people,” you think that has nothing to do with it?

Again, THIS is why the Democrats lose elections that the Republicans have no business winning.

As a person who has been Labour for life in UK, the problem with left parties is they like to blame everything else except themselves when they lose.

Here we have oh well Harris didn’t win because she is a woman, not because she campaigned poorly, talked too much about Hitler and facists, failed to communicate the plan instead partying with Beyonce and Michelle Obama.

And yet…

when we picked Harris for the VP spot 4 years ago the only real requirements placed upon the role, in addition to the presumed normal qualifications for the role, is that it HAD to a a woman and that woman HAD to be black.

but now after limiting ourselves with those requirements to a much smaller pool of possibilities it’s our job to now conclude the only reason you wont vote for her is because she’s a woman.

Who said that was the only reason she didn’t win??? Do you think there is zero bias towards a female candidate running for highest office in the nation, one that has never been held by a woman before?

I am highly confident that just as soon as Nutella gets the official guidance (read official talking points) from the party as to why 14 million Dem voters in 2020 somehow just magically disappeared and didn’t show up to support the same ticket against the same challenger he will be here to forcefully and authoritatively tell us exactly what we are supposed to think.

In support/defense of Nutella he has certainly proved today he is the undisputed leader of the LR. He is here and producing his standard arguments. It’s business as usual for him
