No, not that I am aware of, but he trains on them (was a very early convert many years ago) as did many other people who did well today, a few of them in this race. Ran his way from 22nd after the bike to 15th overall.
No pressure on me now!! Mike now has the proven credential of swimming and biking with the best, then backing it up with a very solid run, he is now officially the REAL DEAL!

I didn’t bring it up. If you will check out the original post I simply said there was another ST’er who did probably had a better race. Someone assumed that because I brought it up it had to be a PC’er so, for some reason they seemed compelled to mention it. The only reason I recognized the name and the significance is because he was a customer. But a 10 years older age group and second amateur who passed EGANSKI on the run AND he posts on ST, although not very frequently, I believe. It is worthy of mention on ST, whether he is a PC’er or not, don’t you think?

I probably wouldn’t have recognized the name as a ST’er unless he was a customer, one of our early ones at that. Without that I wouldn’t have posted because I wouldn’t have known. Was anyone else going to mention him? Unless one posts a lot here one seems not worthy of mention amongst the mafia. And, of course, if I mention them, well . . . I sure hope he was on a Cervelo on bike and used Newtons on the run so I get some sort of redemption.
